Morris Named Chairman, President and CEO
As of Jan. 1, 2008, Scott Morris, president of Avista Corp., takes on the additional mantles of chairman of the board and chief executive officer, following the retirement of Gary Ely on Dec. 31. A 26-year employee of the company, Morris has extensive utility experience, in addition to his leadership in community and professional organizations. For more, read here.
